You spend (or will over the next several months) a lot of time thinking about ways to ensure your guests have a rocking good time during your wedding reception. If you’re reception is family-friendly, you’ll also want to make sure that the kids at your reception are well taken care of. This can mean anything from a coloring book and crayons at their place setting to kid-friendly meal options and even hiring a babysitter at your event. Making sure the kiddos are taken care of not only ensures they won’t be crying during your first dance, but also ensures their parents are able to fully enjoy your reception – it’s a win/win!
Set up a kids table: Offer kiddos a space all their own, complete with candy and plenty of arts & crafts to entertain them all night long.
Serve up some snacks just for them: While the adults enjoy champagne and coffee, why not give the kids a treat of their own? We love this cookies and milk in champagne flutes combo!
A special book at their place setting: Give the kids something to do during boring adult conversation, wedding toasts and more.
